Snail Racing

You can bring your own snails or snails will be available to hire on the day by putting a donation in the St. Michael's Hospice charity box.

The first race will start at 3.15pm

Snails will each have an individual number stuck to them and placed in a copper ring (snails don't like copper) on the formica table. The race commences when the copper ring is lifted. The first snail to reach the edge of the table wins and it's winning time noted. 

According to demand there may be further races.

A cup will be donated to the winner at the end or be available for collection from the Hodd later.
